Buyer & Seller Protection Policy
At BuySellConsumeGolf, we are committed to making every transaction fair, transparent, and secure â for both the buyer and the seller. This policy outlines exactly what you can expect from us and from each other.
Honest & Descriptive Listings Required
All listings on BSC Golf must be fully accurate and descriptive. Since this is a resale and secondhand marketplace, sellers are required to disclose every flaw, blemish, scratch, mark, or defect â no matter how small. Vague descriptions are not acceptable. If it has wear, say so. If it has a chip, say so. The description is a contract between you and the buyer.
Photo Requirements
Sellers must photograph their equipment honestly from multiple angles â front, back, face, sole, grip, shaft, and any areas of wear. Photos must be of the actual item being sold, not stock photos or photos of a similar item. Misleading photos are a violation of BSC Golf policy and may result in removal from the platform.
Seller Photo Retention
Sellers are required to retain their original listing photos for a minimum of 30 days after a sale is completed. These photos may be requested by BSC Golf in the event of a dispute.
14-Day Return Window
Buyers have 14 days from the date of delivery to request a return. After 14 days, all sales are considered final. To initiate a return, contact BSC Golf directly at buysellconsumegolf@gmail.com within the return window.
Return Condition
Returned items must be in the same condition as when they were received. The buyer may not use, alter, or further damage the item during the return window. Returns that arrive in worse condition than shipped may be subject to a partial refund or dispute review by BSC Golf.
How Returns Are Resolved
When a buyer opens a return, both parties are required to submit photos â the buyer submits photos of what they received, and the seller may submit their own photos for comparison. BSC Golf reviews both and makes a fair judgment. Depending on the situation, the following resolutions are available:
Return Shipping
Return shipping responsibility depends on the reason for the return. If the item is not as described or arrives damaged, the seller is responsible for return shipping costs. If the buyer changes their mind or ordered incorrectly, the buyer is responsible for return shipping.
Item Not as Described
If an item arrives materially different from its listing description â wrong model, undisclosed damage, incorrect condition â the buyer is entitled to a full refund and the seller is responsible for return shipping. BSC Golf takes misrepresentation seriously. Sellers who repeatedly misrepresent items risk removal from the platform.
Buyer Cancellations
Buyers may cancel an order at any time before the seller has issued a shipping label. Once a label has been generated, the order cannot be cancelled and the standard return policy applies. To cancel, contact the seller directly or reach out to BSC Golf immediately.
Seller Cancellations
If a seller cancels an order after a buyer has paid, the buyer receives a full refund â no exceptions, no delays. The buyer who was cancelled on will have the ability to leave a public review on the seller's profile reflecting their experience. BSC Golf believes the community should know which sellers are reliable. Sellers with a pattern of cancellations will lose buyer trust organically through their public review history.
Seller Shipping Obligation
Sellers are expected to ship within the timeframe stated in their listing. If no timeframe is specified, sellers must ship within 3 business days of a confirmed sale. Failure to ship in a timely manner may result in the buyer requesting a cancellation and full refund.
Tracking Required
All shipments must include full tracking. Sellers must provide tracking information to BSC Golf and the buyer promptly after shipping. Orders without tracking are not covered under the BSC Golf Protection Program in the event of a dispute.
Lost or Damaged in Transit
If an item is lost or significantly damaged during shipping, the buyer is covered under BSC Golf Buyer Protection. Contact us immediately and we will work with you to resolve the situation. Do not discard damaged packaging â it may be needed for a carrier claim.
How to Open a Dispute
To open a dispute, email BSC Golf at buysellconsumegolf@gmail.com with your order details and a clear description of the issue. Both the buyer and seller will be contacted and asked to submit supporting photos within 48 hours. BSC Golf will review all evidence and issue a decision within 2â4 business days.
BSC Golf Decision
BSC Golf's decision is final in the first instance. If either party believes the decision was made in error and has new evidence to present, they may request a case review. We take dispute resolution seriously and aim to be fair to both sides at all times.
All Classics Sales Are Final
Due to the vintage, rare, and historically significant nature of items in the Classics Collection, all sales are considered final at the time of purchase. Vintage equipment may have natural wear, aging, and imperfections consistent with its age â these are characteristics of the piece, not defects. Sellers are required to describe all condition details thoroughly before listing in Classics.
In exceptional circumstances â such as a significant and demonstrable misrepresentation â a buyer may contact BSC Golf to discuss their situation. These cases are reviewed on an individual basis and are not guaranteed to result in a return or refund. We encourage all Classics buyers to read listing descriptions carefully and ask questions before purchasing.
